2020 5th Floor consultants released the free online resource, “Mana enhancing, Visionary Thinking”

 interwoven into group training workshops and lectures, designed to encourage people to reach their full potential, Due to COVID-19 we had to re think how we do things.

So on the 24th of November 2020, We launched the “Changing Faces Art Exhibition” to showcase future business innovation, inspired by the 1980s New York Galleries, where young people brought graffiti modern Art the upstate New York.

The Street is my Marae book has been 3 years of hard work, researching the lived experiences of New Zealanders such as:

                                         Dead or in Prison: Youth labeled as at risk and Effective practice Models.
                                         What the Poor Eat: an external inquiry into MSD policy and its affects.
                                         Every Body wants to Die: a Conversation about Suicide.

5th floor launched a Training Resource  "Dead or in Prison" The Real life gripping stories  Youth in Aotearoa New Zealand, it has been written to link into one day workshops.



The printed version of my Book "Dead or in prison" has also arrived at 2/893 Fergusson Drive, upper Hutt "Writers Plot Book store"

Police college visit:

 5th floor consultant Yahu also facilitated workshops
with future police recruits at Porirua, it was a great day to meet and challenge 
future officers in engaging at risk youth.

On the 30th of Jan 2015 5th floor Consultants was launched.

So who are we?

A group of experienced Professionals.

We are proud to remain not funded by any Government Contracts,
This makes us truely Independant.

Privacy is kept because we do not have a duty to report your private information
to ANY GOVERNMENT AGENT.

This is why many Kiwis now Come to us.

Our Foundation.




Voluntary Community projects that 5th floor  has been involved in.

Disability Sector:


Lower Hutt City Council




2012
"2Y2G Youth Collective"
Due to the High amount of Youth Deaths, in Lower hutt at the time yahu  and some fellow youth workers are Collaborating on a new Harm Minimization strategics in schools.



Pomare Youth Group
In 2009  a Team of youth Workers Recognized that there was a real need in Pomare,
 for some Youth support. The Formula was a Whanau Ora Concept.
 Young people from 0 to 13 meet  in the local hall, have Games, Sports activitie
  Group programs, Music and of course.... "Free Food"
This was really well  Received and within 2 months there was 45 attending.
 Mainly Primary age kids.

Moko Idol
In Wainuiomata Yahu  was asked to be a part of the "Moko Idol" Program which Mentored Young people with singing and performing Arts one of the students (Kayla Randall)  went on to make it to the finals of "MaoriOke" on Maori Television, Yahu wrote Lyrics and also Coached two of the "Rappers".
 who performed at Te Ra O Te Raukura.

                                                                         

World Kidney Day
2009 was a busy year, Yahu  performed at world kidney Day with Former All Black Michael Jones.
 He later flew to Auckland to observe how Michael and his wife ran Youth programs,
 Similar to what was set up in Pomare.

Prison Concerts
As  Musician, Yahu  has been blessed to share stages with high level Performers such as Steve Apirana.
 Part of a team that has been into Rimutaka, Mangaroa (Hastings) Maori Focus unit and Youth unit to Perform and talk with Prisoners, offenders and share Stories of Hope.

Hastings: Outcast Ministies.

Yahu  teamed up with Two Ex Presidents of Gangs to reach out to the Community of Hastings. putting on Two days of Concerts and free food, we also played touch rugby with the local kids,
Had Hui with Gang members  and went into the Prisons.

Community involvement:
Yahu  and a group of film makers made a short film called "No Doubt" To communicate that "violence towards Women is Never ok"
The Film was well received both in New Zealand and Overseas,  full credit to the Team
 of people that worked for free. Especially Ace Beats  who was the Director.
the film featured a Song that Yahu wrote and Recorded.

"Rangatahi Remix Project"
                                         Yahu set up the "Rangatahi Remix Music Program"
This was Designed to do "Music Therapy"
One of the Young Artists performed at youth concerts
 and wrote over 20 songs!
 This young person was only ten years old when he recorded  Waiata:


Risk education Program
 Facilitator of the "Risk education" Programs,
            successfully in Various Marae, Alternative Education Schools across the Hutt Valley, Wainuiomata and Upper Hutt.
